Equity Gains Ahead

We have held a constructive view regarding Brazilian equities for some time now, and reiterated on various occasions that the Bovespa stock index would outperform other Latin American benchmark indices. This position seems to have been vindicated by the fact that the bourse has broken through its all-time high of 58,292 in mid September, and has now climbed to above the 62,000 mark.
