Macroeconomic Forecast Costa Rica

BMI View: With the DR-CAFTA referendum behind us, we are taking the opportunity to raise our GDP growth forecasts for Costa Rica. With the economy having expanded at a 6-7% clip in H107, we are revising up our 2007 forecast from 5.0% to 6.1%, more in line with the central bank's 6.3% forecast (itself revised from 5.0% earlier this year).
