October 2007 | Macroeconomic ForecastsBMI View: Chile's external sector continues to be buoyed by strong global economic growth, combined with high commodity prices. During the period from January to August, the trade balance registered a surplus of US$19.1bn, up from US$16.0bn during the same period in 2006.
