BMI View: Strong market orientation and low levels of corruption have propelled Uruguay to 2nd place in Latin America (and 35th in the world) in our newly-revised business environment ratings. While there are a few minor challenges ahead, we are optimistic that this will continue to improve, encouraging economic development going forward.
