BMI View: Consumer price inflation slowed slightly on a monthly basis in August. At 0.14% m-o-m, inflation was substantially below July's 0.50% m-o-m reading. However, in annual terms, inflation remained relatively stable, declining from 2.21% y-o-y in July to 2.20% y-o-y in August.
