JLP Manifesto Launched

The Jamaican Labour Party (JLP) has launched its election manifesto with the core emphasis firmly on increasing governmental accountability and improving administrative efficiency. We believe that the opposition party is looking to highlight the ruling People's National Party (PNP)'s political problems last year, which resulted in the controversial resignation of a key cabinet member and the survival of a no-confidence vote in Parliament in October. While this year's election is likely to be an extremely close contest, we stand by our view that the PNP will eventually come out on top.
