August 2007 | Macroeconomic ForecastsBMI View: Latest data released by the Brazilian authorities show that the country's external balance continues to impress. The trade surplus came in at a robust US$3.3bn in July on the back of strong global demand for Brazilian goods. While this was a slight narrowing from June's surplus of US$3.8bn, it was largely due to fast import growth.
