Worker Remittances In the Balance

BMI View: With around a quarter of Honduras' GDP coming from remittances from workers in the US, the growing rate of deportation will be a cause for concern. For now, with the extension of the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) privileges, we expect remittance flows to continue their growth, and we maintain our 4.7% real GDP growth forecast.
