BMI View: A change of presidential administration presents a prime opportunity to make changes to economic policy. As such, our view that Senator Cristina Fernández Kirchner will be elected president later this year leads us to believe that several badly-needed changes of direction in economic policy may be implemented in the coming years, which could put Argentina on a path to sustainable long-term growth.
