June 2007 | Market StrategyBMI View: Paraguay's long-term sovereign credit rating has been upgraded, rewarding three years of responsible fiscal policy and relatively stable growth. That said, Paraguay continues to lag its regional neighbours, and heightened political risk during next year's presidential election will prevent further upgrades in the short term.
