Prime Minister Keith Mitchell has told his supporters to get registered and be ready for an election campaign. According to the local press, Mitchell said that his party is 'oiling [the] machine' in preparation for the polls, but that he is not yet ready 'to pull the trigger'. The comments came at a rally for Mitchell's New National Party (NNP), at which he announced an increase in public sector wages over the course of the next three years - a move that appears to be a pre-election gambit for support.
