April 2007 | Macroeconomic ForecastsBMI View: Consumer prices are beginning to show signs of abating, in line with our view that the recent rise in inflation should prove to be transient. Although headline consumer price inflation in March rose by its highest rate in six months (4.21% y-o-y), we are encouraged by the fall in core inflation, to 3.83% y-o-y, from 3.96% y-o-y in February.
