Sealing The Deal
April 2007 | Economic AnalysisBMI View: After three years and ten rounds of negotiation, Panama and the United States are on the verge of finalising a bilateral free trade agreement, in line with our view that a deal would be concluded by June. We are encouraged that the overall trend toward more open markets has continued in Panama, which has been reaping the benefits of foreign investment over the past few years.
