Record Fiscal Surplus Will Narrow
February 2007 | Market StrategyBMI View: Chile registered a record fiscal surplus in 2006, largely the result of the high price of copper, combined with strong economic growth. While we see the fiscal surplus declining over the forecast period, it will remain above its historical average.
