Banxico Holds On Tight

BMI View: The market has become increasingly jittery of late, after the central bank, Banxico, threatened to tighten monetary policy if inflationary pressures did not show signs of easing in the near term. While we acknowledge this risk of monetary tightening, we are confident that Banxico will play a waiting game over the coming months to see whether inflation starts to cool.
