February 2007 | Market StrategyBMI View: Venezuela and Argentina have again issued a joint bond worth US$1.5bn, as the government in Caracas attempts to drain more liquidity from the economy in an effort to subdue inflationary pressures. The move should relieve some pressure, but the scale of the problem makes this issuance appear too small to have a long-lasting impact.
