Putting A Brake On Growth

BMI View: Domestic demand remains strong, driven by the fiscal stimulus coming from the public sector. However, monetary tightening will gradually begin to put a brake on private sector growth this year. This is no bad thing, as the authorities seek to engineer a soft landing for the economy.
