February 2007 | Macroeconomic ForecastsBMI View: Chile's trade surplus doubled in January, rising from US$1.4bn in December to 2.8bn, marking its best outturn since March 2006. Exports increased by 44% y-o-y to US$5.7bn, while imports expanded by a negligible 0.1% y-o-y, reaching US$2.9bn.
