Senators Face Investigation

Public support for President Alvaro Uribe is on the slide, in the wake of a string of rebel attacks in October. According to a Invamer poll, Uribe's approval rating has fallen 11 percentage points since June to 66% in October. The Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) have been held responsible for a recent attack against a police post killing 19 people and a bomb explosion in Bogota.
