Macroeconomic Forecast Inflation Subdued
December 2006 | Macroeconomic ForecastsBroad consumer inflation, as measured by the IPCA index, rose by just 3.26% y-o-y in October, which is well below the central bank's 4.5% target. Brazilian inflation has steadily declined since January, reaching a new seven-year low month in October, confirming the credibility of the Central Bank.
