September 2006 | Market StrategyThe Peruvian authorities have made little secret of their goal to bring the country's credit rating to investment grade. Their efforts, combined with fortuitous external conditions, paid off yesterday when Fitch upgraded the country to BB+, one notch below investment grade status.
