The Honduran coffee institute has cut its forecast for the current harvest by 10% due to a labour shortages and to losses from cold weather. Output for the 2005-2006 harvest, which ends in March-April, will be around 3.6mn 46-kg bags, with exports of around 3.5mn 46-kg bags. Sales abroad in the last harvest were 3.1mn 46-kg bags.
