BMI View: Consumer price inflation continued to head higher in May, coming in at 12.6% y-o-y, up from 11.8% in April. Rising food prices remain the main driver of broad consumer price inflation, as core inflation accelerated to just 2.3% y-o-y in May, up from 2.2% the previous month. Given continued supply side inflationary pressures, we have once again revised up our end-2012 inflation forecast, from 4.75% to 5.25%.
