Fiscal Surplus For Now, Long-Term Risks Loom

BMI View: Bolivia's fiscal accounts will remain in the black this year and next, with the non-financial public sector set to post nominal surpluses of 1.4% of GDP in 2012 and 1.5% in 2013. However, a poor business environment and a reliance on hydrocarbons revenue still present important medium- to long-term risks to fiscal account stability.
