Back To Positive Growth But Still Sluggish

We forecast Puerto Rico will return to positive growth in 2012, expanding by 1.5%. Despite the slight economic expansion we expect this year, our long-term growth outlook for Puerto Rico remains grim, as structurally high levels of unemployment are likely to keep real GDP growth under 2.0% over the coming years.
