Growth Story To Dim, Some Bright Spots Remain

BMI View: Costa Rica's economy is in an increasingly weak position as the authorities struggle to deal with potential spillover effects from the country's rising fiscal deficit. This helps inform our view for more moderate real GDP growth over the coming years, cooling from 4.2% in 2011 to 3.7% in 2012.
