According to reports following a meeting between President Fernández and the newly appointed Argentine ambassador to the United States, Jorge Argüello, the president is pushing for the resolution of any outstanding controversy between Argentina and the U.S., including two disputes brought by American companies before the World Bank's International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes.
