Barbados' trade deficit continued to widen in July, reaching US$725mn. Total exports came in at US$40mn in July, while imports reached US$300m, up more than 30% since the beginning of the year. For end-2011, we are sticking to our export and import forecasts of US$400mn and US$1.5bn respectively, which imply a trade deficit US$1.1bn.
