She said the government planned to step up bilateral talks with other Commonwealth states and sought to act as a bridge between the Commonwealth and Latin America. In addition, she noted that the government was considering relaxing the requirements for Commonwealth citizens to enter T&T, as well as exploring the possibility of direct flights from South Africa and India to T&T.
