While Honduras' current account is set to remain firmly in deficit over our 10-year forecast period, we are becoming more optimistic about the outlook for its capital and financial account. The resolution of the 'Zelaya' issue and Honduras' subsequent re-admission to the Organisation of American States should provide a boost to both capital transfers and investment inflows, as foreign investors are reassured by increasing stability.
