Growth To Outperform Region
April 2011 | Economic AnalysisBMI View: We project real GDP growth in Panama to come in at 6.3% in 2011 and 6.8% in 2012, from 7.5% in 2010. This means the country will be one of the fastest growing economies in the world, testament to its solid macro fundamentals and highly attractive investment environment. That said, like most other countries in the region, rising global commodity prices pose a considerable risk to our outlook.
